Famous battle theme for super nintendo's Chrono trigger and Psone's Chrono Cross. Created again by one of my all time favorite videogame composers. This song is written in d major with many triplet rhytm patterns. in the melody. What is so amazing about this short clip is it uses tons of power chords in the left hand to create that strong assertive confidence symbolizing how a hero has won a battle eliminating all the bad guys ^_^. Much of the progressions focus mainly on arpeggiated tonic chord of d major. Then in the final portion of the song an ascending d major scale coupled again with two power chords to emphasis victory and conquest much of how a battle theme should sound.
