Most players (particularly European) are familiar with clay and can play well enough! Only one has been comparable to Borg on clay -Nadal! Borg won 4 RG/5 Wimbledons proving that the best on clay can be best on hardcourts too. We've seen evidence of that already -Nadal's Wimbledon & his last hardcourt tournaments. :-)
