May 18, 2008 - Vamos rafa!!! At some point in my life, someway somehow I will have dinner with Federer and Nadal Vamos!!
milton456 Says:
May 18, 2008 - Not exactly. He cheated in the first set by faking an injury- which slowed down Federer's momentum. Nadal wont be able to get away with this cheating much longer!

May 18, 2008 - I have to remember yoo that Nadal played a 3 hours game against Novak Djokovic. The match were played in the late afternoon, and Federer only needed 79 minutes against Seppi, and the match were played at 1 pm. I think you will agree with me, Seppi is far far away from Federer.Djokovic is a wondeful player and Nadal had to use his best tennis to defeat him. Something that Federer needn't yesterday. Today Nadal has been better, in Paris Federer could take revenge.

May 18, 2008 - nadal is just to good. a very good tennis player, a humble and we here in the philippines supports him all the way.. congratulations for beating federer in HAMBURG.. VAMOS rafa...

May 18, 2008 - It was the best match I've seen after the semis in Melbourne, between Djokovic and Federer. Amazing! I am a Djokovic fan, but Nadal is not just a tennis player- he is a superman! Incredible! Today's match sucked compared to this one!

May 18, 2008 - I love watching Nadal play on clay - it is so exciting and this was definitely one of the best matches of the year. Djokovic played well, but I still think there were some moments in the match when he acted very cocky and immature. If he weren't so full of himself and little bit more humble like Rafa or Fed, than he would be one of my favortie player as I like his game. Amazing match and I'm so glad that Rafa won the whole tournament! Way to erase the memory of Rome Rafa!!

May 19, 2008 - Nadal and Djokovic are the future of tennis , there will be more matches between them, I like them both , they both are champions and give so much to this sport.Someone said that Djokovic is cocky , disagree , this is hes personality, when Nadal play against Djokovic it is difficult to decide which side to take.I thank God for these players like them.

May 20, 2008 - Rafa is simply and truly amazing. The king! it's always intense when we saw him playing... that's why he's THE BEST.
YoSoyZuri Says:
May 23, 2008 - It maybe difficult for you, but for me there is no contest! Nadal rules!!
YoSoyZuri Says:
May 23, 2008 - Darwinlsmyfried, I love watching Nadal play .. full stop! on clay, on grass, and on hardcourt Nadal is a great talent! OK on clay he is unique (only the greatest ever Borg is on the same level)! NOTONE else!
YoSoyZuri Says:
May 23, 2008 - 164jlg, yes Nadal serve has improved a lot and he's still working on it!! LOL
DarwinIsMyFriend Says:
May 23, 2008 - I like his grasscourt game too - all his spins and slices work well on grass. But I think on a hardcourt, unfortunately, he has to work extra harder as the surface neutralizes his extreme spin and just his whole game in general. On a hardcourt, his extreme-spin game also admittedly looks a little odd but on clay he looks like a fish in water and on grass it translates well. Rafa can win big tournaments on hardcourts, but its a surface that doesn't give him a lot of positives to work with.
YoSoyZuri Says:
May 23, 2008 - ValentinaSebia, what a pity you have missed some of the best matches! Miami's Blake & Berdych-Nadal & Monte Carlo's final are three of my favorites! :-)
DarwinIsMyFriend Says:
May 23, 2008 - I said Djokovic is cocky because, truthfully, he is. All of the top players have big egos but most don't publicize it the way Djokovic does in interviews & on the court. Maybe I'm a little bit biased though as I remember in 2006 when Djokovic first started to rise & admitted to abusing medical & bathroom time-out rules just to stop his opponent's momentum; he also would just quit in some matches. Now that I think of it, maybe that's the reason I look at his cockiness with a critical eye ...
YoSoyZuri Says:
May 23, 2008 - I wouldn't put them together yet!! yes both are talented but one has done so much more than the other and is still doing so much more!
YoSoyZuri Says:
May 23, 2008 - darwinismyfriend, you must have been in another planet! In the last 9 tournaments on hardcourt Nadal has won one title and reach SF and Finals in all except Madrid QF. There's now clear evidence (as Blake said earlier this yr in Miami) Nadal has now an excellent hardcourt game!!! You are a litle backdated !
YoSoyZuri Says:
May 23, 2008 - Dokovic is cocky and arrogant that is fact! He is not a bad person and doesn't mean it in a bad way. However, yes I agree that it was bad to pull out of matches for reasons other than purelly medical! -this off course has not been proven to be the case so we could be wrong!
YoSoyZuri Says:
May 23, 2008 - Darwinismyfriend, Again about the hardcourt debate! I would recomend Miami -to be fair the latest tournament and against Blake and Berdych to hardcourt specialists who were said not to be beatable by Nadal! Watch Rafa play and then tell me his game looks odd!!! :)
DarwinIsMyFriend Says:
May 23, 2008 - Ok - first off I am a HUGE Rafa fan just to clear that issue. Yes, he's been consistent on hard courts this year and he's won big titles in the past, but the surface does work against him. In all of the big matches on hard-courts this year, Rafa unfortunately has lost pretty soundly. It's just the way he plays - on a hard court the regularity of the bounce neutralizes his spin and his speed. People can hit through him, plus it hampers his movement as hardcourts are terrible on your body.
DarwinIsMyFriend Says:
May 23, 2008 - Also, hardcourts have varying speeds. Indian Wells and Miami are slower hardcourts, while courts such as the U.S. Open, Australian Open, and indoor courts are extremely fast (now even faster than grass!). The slower hard courts help Rafa, but as evidenced as this year players can still hit through him as his shots do not have the same action as they would on clay or grass. On a faster hard courts (which are the majority), Rafa is forced to be super-agressive which goes against his game.

May 24, 2008 - DarwinMyFriend, my friend I do appologize for my comment towards Nadal vs Djokovic match. My intention was to give them the merit because they are the best of tennis, and they are young , so judging them is imature thing to do, and who is the best let the time to decide, I do like them both. sincerely Poetlez
